Register for Youth Recreational Hockey. This program is ideal for all players, from Learn to Play to Travel, who are craving more game time. Players are asked to bring a reversible or light and dark jersey to each session.

Stick & Puck sessions are an opportunity for hockey players of all ages to practice their skating and stick handling skills. These are non-competitive sessions and scrimmaging is not permitted. Players under 18 years of age must wear full protective hockey equipment.

Rat Hockey sessions are available for hockey players aged 18+ to get out on the ice for an informal pick-up game. Participants should arrive early as only 30 players and 4 goalies are admitted per session.

​Center Ice of DuPage hockey programs are designed around the guidelines of USA Hockey’s ADM model, which creates a fun, relaxed learning environment for participants to learn the fundamental skills of ice hockey. The non-competitive and positive atmosphere makes a child’s first experience with hockey positive, and creates an environment in which they can excel.

We believe that if a player’s introduction to the sport is positive, they will develop a lifetime love of the game. First-timers that sign up for Black Bear Rookie League qualify for a FREE hockey gear starter kit.
