Penalties & Periods:
Minors: 2:00
Majors: 5:00
Misconducts: 10:00
Except in instances where league rules are more strict; AHAI and USA Hockey rules preside.

Periods:

1:20 game slot with 13 minute stop-time periods. The clock will run in the 3rd period if necessary. Third period running clock, 5 goal slaughter rule is invoked. Time out will be allowed in the Semi, Cons, and Championship games only, and only the slaughter rule will cause the clock to run in these games.

Fighting:
Fisticuffs will result in a three league game suspension. Blatant instigation of an altercation will/may result in ejection for the remaining season.

Maximum Penalties:
20 penalties on a team will result in a stoppage of play with the current score being recorded if the offending team is losing, or as a ??-0 loss to the offending team if the offending team is winning or tied.

Tie Breaker:
Head-to-head result of tied teams. Total goals for minus total goals against for seeding or playoffs. Coin toss, if a team forfeits a game in the playoffs. All playoff games are considered forfeits and recorded as a 1-0 loss.

Roster Size and Deadline:
Twenty-five players may be rostered on your team; however, a maximum of eighteen players and two goaltenders may dress for the games. Rosters are due at your first game, will be kept at CID, and may be changed through the third game. Any additions to your roster after the third game will be handled on a case-bycase basis by the league.

• All games will be played at Center Ice on both American and International ice surfaces.

• Spring League commences March 30, 2005. Games will be played primarily on Sundays with no games on Memorial day May 30th. The leagues scheduled completion is in June.

• Standings will be mailed to each team designee, weekly, and may be viewed at www.centericeofdupage.com

• Twelve game guarantee consisting of nine seeding round games, guaranteed three game play-offs, semis for divisions over eight teams, Consolation and Championship.

• Team awards for First, Second, Third, and Fourth place finishes. Individual hats for First place Champions.

Combined or Varied teams: Schools allowed to combine in their league will automatically be accepted. Teams combining to create a new program will be accepted. Teams combining for another purpose must obtain permission from the league.

Uniforms and Players: All players must wear matching jerseys and at least 6 players must be present to start the game. There will be a 5 minute warm-up and you will be allowed a 5 minute wait time for a sixth player. In the case of a team without a goalkeeper, a player must be designated until your goaltender arrives. In case of injury, an “of age” goal tender may be substituted for the rostered goaltender. This must be cleared by Center Ice of DuPage on a game by game basis. Pull-overs, if required, are the responsibility of the visiting team and will be supplied by Center Ice.
